Services
Sand and finish new and/or existing floors. We can either leave them the natural color of the wood or we can stain them to your liking. If you choose to stain the floors and you are unsure of the color of stain, we can put a couple of stains on the floor and you can choose the color that you like.
• Sand and finish steps and risers.
• Sand, finish treads of steps and paint the risers.
• Buffing and Coating of existing hardwood floors.
• Installation of Borders and/or medallions. This creates a beautiful and unique look to any room.
• Installation of un-finished wood floors as well as pre-finished hardwood flooring.
• Installation of engineered flooring.
• Installation of wood laminate flooring.
• Install moldings, transitions and reducers.
• Repair work on laminate and wood flooring.
• Removal and disposing of old wood flooring, tile and carpet.
We do move furniture.
Thomey’s Floor Service, Inc. can supply all of the material and labor or if you choose, you can supply the material and we supply the labor for installation.

I would like to take the time to tell you how pleased I was with the work that your team did. The finished product far surpassed any expectations that I had when the job was started. The fact that your team was able to take an existing hardwood foyer with pre-finished hardwood and stairs that were pre-finished and very worn and refinished both to match a newly installed hardwood floor was very impressive. It looks as if the entire area were installed and finished at the same time, not 15 years apart.
I would also like to mention that the professionalism shown by your entire company is to be commended. All telephone conversations were professional, polite and friendly. Your team arrived promptly at the time they said they would on all occasions; an unusual occurrence in the construction business! The workers were knowledgeable about the sanding and staining process down to the details of knowing what kind of stain was used on the pre-existing floor!
I was particularly impressed with the fact that your team does not expect the homeowner to choose a stain color from a sample palate; they actually apply samples of stain to the wood so the homeowner can make the best choice. The lack of dust and dirt was also impressive. Even when some imperfections in the job were noted, your staff handled them politely and promptly without question. It seems that in our society, customer service has largely gone by the wayside. That is certainly not the case with your company. I would gladly recommend your services to anyone who asks and I will certainly be using your company for any future hardwood flooring work.
